BHDT 2-Day Urea Workshop Training in India

Very Much Appreciated!

BHDT in close co-operation with their local representative KEY-TECH have organized a 2-Day Urea Workshop Training in India on 5th & 6th February 2013 at Kribhco Hazira, Surat, India.

More than 25 participants, from all over India, did very much appreciate this Workshop Training. These participants came from various Indian urea producers like IFFCO, Mangalore Chemicals and Fertilizers, Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals, GNFC, Gujarat State Fertilizers and Chemicals, Madras Fertilizers Limited, RCF Ltd, KSFL, TATA Chemicals and of course Kribhco.

The Workshop was inaugurated by the KRIBHCO management under the leadership of Mr. Rajesh Aggarwal- Operations Director, Kribhco.
The workshop training consisting of a first day class room presentations and discussions covering corrosion phenomena in High Pressure Piping of urea plants, materials of construction, corrosion inspection techniques and features of BHDT High Pressure valves.

The second day was practical training and was spent mostly in the Instrumentation Workshop, where different kind of valves were disassembled and reassembled again. Hands-on participation were welcome and all participants got the opportunity to “feel and taste” the specific aspects of valve maintenance.

Finally, several practical cases were discussed and lessons learned as well as case histories were shared amongst the participants. In the evaluation all participants expressed their appreciation and positively recommended this Workshop Training for their colleagues in the industry.
