Research and Development

The continuous increasing production capacity in high pressure industry requires larger plants and a further development of materials. This development implements new research projects procured at BHDT by focused projects. Some of these research and development projects are supported by the austrian research and development fund. Actually our research and development activities are as follows:

• Further development of high pressure materials, increase of material strenght keeping very good thoughness and fatigue properties at a high level
• Fatigue tests under consideration of intrinsic stesses (Autofrettage)
• Development of high pressure rupture-disc-systems
• Further development of high pressure control valves
